Cut The Crap Playlist || April 2011
this playlist is late… but so is spring in southwestern ontario. here is all of the sunny music i listened to in april (and will continue to listen to, obviously) even though it is the worst outside. included in this month’s playlist: shoegaze, ‘indie rock’, chillwave (inc a new washed out track, so it must be spring somewhere) and some dancier stuff too. most of it is ‘from da archives’, meaning 2010, when i listened to way too much electro for my own good. The French Kicks - Abandon

forever yes

this songs is always amazing

Natureboy weaves loops, waves of guitar, synth, bass, and drums with acoustic folk to create a haunting synthesis of moody and intelligent, melodic and angular music. Her lyrics are both starkly emotional and strangely evocative; drawing the listener into a strange and resonant world that persists long after the music is over. What emerges is gorgeous, vulnerable, and almost threatening.
