can it fucking snow now please
such a beautiful weekend
Saturday we went to the Celebration of Light fireworks show which was amazing. We sat behind this gorgeous guy with some amazing tattoo sleeves. I may or may not have snapped a picture he didn’t know about… Last year it was so crowded and took almost two hours to get home via the Skytrain but they were a little more organized this time and we got home pretty quickly in front of the crowd without leaving early.
The next morning was Vancouver Pride so we had to wake up early and get on the Skytrain again. On the way it started to rain so we were a little worried because we weren’t prepared for that but it turned out to be amazing weather! Pride was really nice, we got a ton of free things (because you know, I can’t refuse free anything). We even got some skins with rainbows printed on them! We stayed in the area most of the day and went to this great diner called Hamburger Mary’s but I started feeling really awful and I couldn’t eat most of the amazing burger in front of me.
Today was BC Day. We needed the day off to relax so we didn’t do very much but it was really nice out again. It’s supposed to stay really hot this week. Hopefully not too hot but I should be able to soak up some sun.
I also ordered two pairs of amazing shoes and got a free PS3.
Riot in Vancouver
I turned off the hockey game and watched other shows, showered, etc. I turned the news back on three hours after the game and every window downtown is smashed, cars are on fire, looting is happening. This is really fucked up. I had wanted to go downtown to watch the game but it’s a good thing we didn’t! I know people that did and I hope they are okay.
This is really embarrassing for Vancouver.
